OBIT RIGGS, LACY CHAPMAN

RIGGS, Lacy Chapman, ("L C"), 69, of Pearisburg, died Thursday evening, July 15, 1993, at his home. Born in Pembroke on February 15, 1924, he was a son of the late Lacy Chapman Riggs Sr. and Louvenia White Riggs. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Helen E. Snider, Newport, and Mrs. Margie E. Keller, Chillicothe, Ohio; two nieces, Betty Swan of Florida and Dorothy Via, Richlands. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, 2 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home, Pembroke. Burial will be in the Boyd's Chapel Cemetery, Pembroke. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
