OBIT FISHER, HOWARD RAY

FISHER, Howard Ray, 54, of Moneta, died Friday, July 16, 1993, in a local hospital, after a short illness. He was employed by Southern States and was preceded in death by his father, Earnest Fisher, and two brothers, Samuel and Harold Fisher. Surviving are his wife, Beulah Dooley Fisher; three stepdaughters and husbands, Cynthia and Chester Yeager, Marilyn Cantu, Marsha and Jerry Marsh, all of Roanoke; one stepson, Fred Dooley; special grandchildren, Christopher Cantu, Crystal Marsh; his mother, Ollie Fisher, Roanoke; one sister, Edith Moore, Roanoke; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Elmer and Patricia Fisher, Jackson, Miss., James and Dorothy Fisher, Roanoke; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Fisher, Roanoke, and Shirley Fisher, Goodview; a dear brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Floyd and Shirley Overstreet, Vinton; also surviving are several nieces and nephews; two special pets, Trixie and Sparky. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 2:30 p.m. Monday, with Dr. H. R. Thompson and the Rev. Carl Woodie officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
