OBIT WILSON, CHARLIE HARVEY

WILSON, Charlie Harvey (`Shorty`), 79, of Hiwassee, passed away Friday, July 16, 1993, at Radford Community Hospital. He was a retired cabinet maker. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Sidney (Darlene) Wilson of Hiwassee, Mrs. Harold (Rita) Thornton of Radford, Mrs. Wanda Owens and Mrs. Sandra Wilson, both of Dublin; three sons, Wilford Wilson of Dublin, Alvin Wilson of Alexandria and Steve Wilson of Christiansburg; one brother, Andy Wilson of Salem; one sister, Mrs. Nina Simpkins of Hiwassee; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home with the Rev. Truman Simpkins and the Rev. Joe McCoy officiating. Interment will follow in Wilson Grove Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
