MOLES TAKES PURE STOCKS FOR FCS WIN

In late races of the Mountain Dew 300 at Franklin County Speedway on Saturday night:

Leon Moles won the Pure Stock event, moving into fourth place in the points standings. Points leader R.W. Lawhorn was second, and Kenny McKinney placed third.

Steve Hurley expanded his points lead in the Rookie division, taking his second consecutive victory. Gary Clifton and George Blankenship finished second and third, respectively.

Buster Carroll won the Modified race and Dean Sutphin prevailed in the Any Car nightcap. - Staff report
