MEADOR SPARKS POST 3 VICTORY

Donnie Meador had a home run and four RBI as Roanoke Post 3 North clobbered Patrick County 11-1 in an American Legion baseball game Sunday at William Byrd High School.

Also for North (11-2), Shannon Gray was 3-for-4 with two doubles and drove in two runs.

Patrick County is 1-16.

On Saturday, North lost 4-2 to host Martinsville. Gray went 3-for-4 and drove in both of North's runs.

In another game:

Ryan Blevins was the winning pitcher and drove in four runs as Roanoke Post 3 West won 18-15 over Tri-County Post 145 on Sunday.

Trey White and Kelly Dampeer, who earned a save, each added three RBI for West (9-5).

For Tri-County, B.W. Hill was 4-for-5 and Chad Shaffner was 3-for-4.
