OBIT BRUBECK, CHARLES ARNOLD

BRUBECK, Charles Arnold, 88, of Salem, died Saturday, July 17, 1993. He was a member of College Lutheran Church in Salem and retired from the N&W East End Shops after 47 years. He was a life member of Salem Rescue Squad. He is survived by his wife, Mary Bowman Brubeck; daughters, Betty Brubeck of Salem, Mary Virginia (`Ginny`) Brubeck of Tulsa, Okla.; sister, Virginia McGowan of Boca Raton, Fla. Graveside services will be held 12 noon Tuesday at Sherwood Memorial Park with Pastor D. J. Westerman and Pastor Robert R. Ward officiating. Memorials may be made to Salem Rescue Squad. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem.
