OBIT HARDY, DAISY IRENE BRATTON

HARDY, Daisy Irene Bratton, 90, of Roanoke, died Monday, July 19, 1993, at Richfield Nursing Center in Salem. She was the widow of Warren Hardy. Mrs. Hardy was born in Giles County, Va. on October 6, 1902, to T. A. J. Bratton and Geneva Munsey Bratton. Surviving is one brother, Emory Bratton; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Robbie R. Bratton, both of Salem; several nephews and nieces. Mrs. Hardy was a longtime member of Belmont United Methodist Church and was retired from American Viscose. Services will be at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Harold M. Fuss will officiate. Entombment will follow at Sherwood Mausoleum. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
