OBIT STANLEY, LINDA JENNINGS

STANLEY, Linda Jennings, 45, of Old Farm Village #35, Christiansburg, died Monday, July 19, 1993, in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born in Draper on August 4, 1947, and she was the daughter of the late Edwin Lewis (Buster) Jennings. She was an employee of Wheatland Hills Nursing Home, Radford. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Rocky and Tammy LaRue, Pulaski, Lance and Heather LaRue, Pulaski; mother, Edna Dalton Jennings, Draper; one sister, Peggy Bess, Draper; two brothers, Bobby Jennings, Draper, Marvin Jennings, Draper; grandchildren, Jason LaRue, Jessica LaRue, Amber LaRue, Sunni LaRue, all of Pulaski. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 22, 1993, at 2 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel, Pulaski, with the Rev. Peggy Long officiating. Burial will follow in the Draper Cemetery, Draper. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening at Stevens Funeral Home from 7 until 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorials be made to the Draper United Methodist Church Steeple Fund, Draper, VA 24324.
