SUSPENDED GAME MOVED TO 5 P.M. TODAY

The Martinsville Phillies have moved up the starting time for the completion of a suspended game today.

The conclusion of Monday night's game between Martinsville and Elizabethton will be played at 5 p.m. in Martinsville before the start of the teams' regularly scheduled game. The start originally was scheduled for 6 p.m.

Elizabethton led 6-0 when the game was suspended by rain. The first game will be nine innings, and the second game will be a seven-inning contest. - Staff report
