A group of New York investors is considering bringing a Canadian Football League team to Hampton Roads, Va., where nearly 1.4 million residents live in the nation's largest metropolitan area without a major professional sports franchise. Ira Agricola, senior vice president of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce, said a group headed by Dan Lynch of ABC Radio has requested demographic information about the area as well as data on Foreman Field in Norfolk.
