SPECIAL VOTER REGISTRATION

Virginia law provides voter registration opportunities for confined persons unable to apply in person at the Voter Registration Office.

A registrar will be available on Aug. 11 and 12 and Sept. 8 and 9 to visit qualified persons.

Forms to request a visit may be obtained by calling 382-5741 or writing Sandra Chapin at the Montgomery County Courthouse, P.O. Box 275, Christiansburg 24073.

A properly completed form must be received by not less than five days prior to an approved day for a visit to be scheduled.
