OBIT BROWN, WILLIE EDWARD

BROWN, Willie Edward ("Shorty"), 64, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 1993. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Survivors include his wife, Marie Edna Brown; one son and daughter-in-law, Neil Edward and Pamela E. Brown; one daughter, Lyn Marie Brown; one sister, Dovie Brown, all of Roanoke; five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home with the Bishop James Gill officiating. Interment will be in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
