OBIT HAMRICK, EMMA DALTON

HAMRICK, Emma Dalton, 89, of Christiansburg, died Wednesday night, July 21, 1993, in a Salem hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur G. Hamrick and a daughter, Joan Hamrick Smith. Surviving are two sons, Arthur Graham Hamrick Jr. and Daniel Dalton Hamrick, both of Christiansburg; a daughter, Betty Marie Hamrick Lawrence, Colonial Heights; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The funeral will be Saturday, 10 a. m. from the Richardson-Horne Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Douglas Kanney with burial in Sunset Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 320 Hershberger Road, N. W., Roanoke, Va. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 Friday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
