OBIT FURROW, ALBERT ERNEST

FURROW, Albert Ernest, (`'Red"), 62, of Route 7, Rocky Mount, died Wednesday, July 21, 1993. He was a member of the Rocky Mount First Church of the Brethren, where he served as a deacon and was the assistant moderator of the Boones Chapel Church of the Brethren. Mr. Furrow was retired from MW Manufacturers as supervisor with 42 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Excie H. Furrow, of the home; his mother, Elizabeth Furrow, Rocky Mount; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Joyce and Melvin Matthews, Roanoke, Agnes and Gene Thacker, Hampton, and Helen Sue Johnson, Lynch Station; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy and Betty Furrow, Wayne and Judy Furrow, all of Rocky Mount; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 1993, at the Rocky Mount First Church of the Brethren with Rev. William M. Pugh officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
