COLE-SEAY

Shannon C. Seay and Thomas E. Cole were married July 24, 1993, in Hollins Road Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Doyle officiating. The reception was held at Vinton War Memorial. The matron of honor was Shannon Ritchie, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Austin, sister of groom, Sally Flannagan, Diane Skull, Kendall Johnson, Ann Duke, and Michelle Carroll, friends of the bride. Flowergirl was Jessica Ritchie. The best man was Ronald L. Cole, Sr., father of groom. Ushers included Ronnie Cole, Jr., brother of groom, Kenneth W. Seay, brother of bride, Roger Carroll, Neil Austin, Doug Aaron, and Dwayne Ellis, friends of the groom. Ringbearer was Austin Dixon. Guestbook attendant was Polly Lafon. Photographer was Barry Brooks of Vinton. The bride wore a white brocade gown accented with Zenise lace, sweetheart neckline and a full skirt with a channel train. She carried a cascading bouquet of pink roses and white miniature carnations. The bride is the daughter of Richard M. Seay and Judy C. Seay of Buchanan. She is employed by Great Impression Hair Salon. The groom is the son of Ronald L. Cole and Esther T. Cole of Roanoke. He graduated from William Fleming High School and is employed by the U. S. Postal Service. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke after a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach.
