HALVERSON-ASHBY

Linda Sue Ashby and Barry Lee Halverson exchanged their vows July 6, 1993, at 4:00 p.m. at the Roanoke Star. Officiating at the double ring ceremony was Rev. Pierre A. Renoir. The bride is the daughter of Mildred Elizabeth Payne Stutler and the late Jessie Arnold Ashby. The bride has two children, Cindy D. Raynor and Sherry L. Craighead, and one grandson, Joshua Raynor. The bridegroom is the son of Myrtle Virginia Halverson and the late Shelby Edgar Halverson, and foster parents, Richard and Mary Lou Brown. The bridegroom has one son, Christopher Lee Halverson. The couple will reside in Salem. A marriage that was meant to be, now and forever, husband and wife and best friends, what God has joined together, no one can ever part.
