Dale Annette Comer and Jerry Allen Smith were married June 18, 1993, in
Timber Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Clayton Riggs officiating. The reception
was held at the church fellowship hall. The maid of honor was Kelly Lynn
Smith, daughter of groom. Bridesmaids were Earnestine C. Stevens, June C.
Surface and Dorothy M. Comer, sisters of the bride. Flowergirl was Sierra
Smith. The best man was Jeremy Allen Smith, son of groom. Ushers were Nelson
C. Comer and Gene C. Comer, brothers of the bride, and Raymond L. Atkinson, a
friend. Candlelighters were Gene Comer and Raymond Atkinson. Guestbook was
attended by Tabatha Atkinson and Jennifer Carr. The bride is the daughter of
the late Earnest and Minnie Comer of Bedford, Va. She graduated from Staunton
River High School and is employed by Sam Moore Furniture. The groom is the son
of Violet Smith and the late Silas Smith of Massena, N. Y. He attended Norwood
High School, New York, and is employed by Sam Moore Furniture. The newlyweds
will live in Bedford, Va., after a wedding trip to Dixie Caverns, the Poconos
and New York state.
