TAYLOR-HURD

Barbara Dickison Hurd and Robert Louis Taylor were married July 24,1993, with the Reverend Stephen Darr officiating. The 7 p.m. outdoor ceremony was held at Hidden Valley Country Club, followed by a reception.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs.Lucille Dickison and the late MajorWilliam Dickison, of Blairstown, N.J. The groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Taylor of Salem, Virginia.

The bride was escorted by her son,Jay Hurd. Barbara Peery was matron of honor. Rob Taylor, son of the groom, was best man. Ushers were David Hurd, Greg Freeman and Fred Shields. Becky Taylor was groom's special attendant. Theguestbook was attended by Wendi Schultz. Special wedding music was provided by Owen Schultz and Sheila Stewart andaccompanied by William Penn.

The bride is a graduate of Roanoke College and employed as Student Market Coordinator by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Virginia. The groom is a graduate of Indiana University and The University of Virginia School of Law. He is VicePresident and Assistant General Counsel at First Union Corporation of Charlotte, N.C.

Following a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple will live in Charlotte, N.C. and Roanoke, Va.
