VADEN ANNIVERSARY

James E. (Dick) and Frances F. Vaden celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 18, 1993. The celebration was held at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Christiansburg and was hosted by their daughter and family. The couple was married July 14, 1943, in Bristol, Va. They have lived in Christiansburg for 39 years. She is the former Frances Foster. They have one daughter, Mrs. Bill (Patty) Willhite of Roanoke and two grandchildren, Scott and Tricia. They are both retired from Radford Arsenal. Mr. Vaden also celebrated his 80th birthday on July 14, 1993.
