The feature is seldom funny and, today, extremely tasteless.
Effective Aug. 15, we will carry two new features:
"Where's Waldo," which brings the delicately detailed work of English illustrator Martin Handford to the Sunday comics section, enabling kids for the first time to look for Waldo in an intriguing newspaper puzzle.
"Curtis," drawn by Ray Billingsley, a strip of universal appeal that appears in 250 newspapers and details the trials and tribulations of an 11-year-old black child learning about life and relationships.
Additional changes will be made in about a month to broaden the appeal of our daily and Sunday comics.
I hope you'll let us know your views on these changes. Call the Comment Line at any time, day or night: 981-3173
