OBIT CAMPBELL, VIRGINIA REBECCA MARTIN, 101,

CAMPBELL, Virginia Rebecca Martin, 101, of Salem, died Saturday, July 24, 1993 in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Smith Campbell. Her parents were David Terry Martin and Gillie Darst Martin. She was born at Beaconsville in Salem and was a life-long member of the Salem Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a brother, T. Chandler Martin, Richmond; and by many nieces and nephews, who will remember her with admiration and affection. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 27, at 11 am in the East Hill Cemetery, with the Dr. Leighton Culler, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the T. Stuart Payne Center at the Richfield Retirement Community, 3615 W. Main St., Salem, Va. 24153. Arrangements by John M. Oakey & Son.
