JOHNSON, Ballard Preston ('Pete'), 76, of Roanoke, died Saturday, July 24, 1993, at a local nursing home. Surviving are two sisters, Mary J. Bayse and Margaret J. and Jake Robertson, all of Roanoke; a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Mark Washington officiating. Arrangements by Oakey's North Chapel.
