OBIT RUDDICK, JOHN L.

RUDDICK, John L., 66, of Vinton, died Friday, July 23, 1993 in a Salem hospital. Surviving are Norma Ruddick; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Gary Ruddick, Roanoke, Alan and Barbara Ruddick, Chattanooga, Tenn.; sister Beverly Gale, Daleville, Ind.; two brothers, George Ruddick, Muncey, Ind., Robert Ruddick, Upper Marlboro, Md.; step granddaughter, Lucretia Sleeper, Chattanooga, Tenn.; also, several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be Monday, 11 a.m. at Mountain View Cemetery, with Rev. Maurita Wiggins officiating. The family will receive friends at Oakey's Vinton chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
