OBIT LODGE, JAMES WALTER

LODGE, James Walter, 58, of Route 2, Bedford, died Monday, July 26, 1993, at his residence. He was born in Bedford County on April 7, 1935, a son of the late Mason Hanks Lodge and Grace Verna Holdren Lodge. He was a retired carpenter and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon L. Gray, and his grandson, Jason Daniel Gray, both of Thaxton; his aunt, Emma Lodge of Bedford; several cousins. A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, July 28, 1993, at 11:00 a.m. at Thaxton Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Clayton Leonard officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Carder-Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford.
