EDWARD MCCUE JR., EX-LEGISLATOR, DIES

Edward Overton McCue Jr., a retired state legislator from Charlottesville, has died of cancer at age 92.

McCue died Tuesday, said his son, Edward O. McCue III.

McCue, a Democrat, represented Charlottesville and several surrounding counties in the House of Delegates from January 1934 to 1950, and a larger territory around the city in the Virginia Senate from 1950 through 1967.
