A deed filed in the Cabarrus County Register of Deeds office shows the closing took place Monday in Concord, N.C.
Bodine, along with the administrator of Kulwicki's estate, Felix Sabates, announced earlier that Bodine would be buying the team. Kulwicki, last year's Winston Cup Champion, died in a plane crash April 1 near Bristol, Tenn.
Kulwicki Racing will continue to field a car for the remainder of the Winston Cup season, according to Bodine's earlier announcement.
Bodine will become the team's driver next year. He is completing the 1993 season as the driver for Bud Moore's team, which fields Fords out of its Spartanburg, S.C., shop.
Cleveland beat out Lausanne, Switzerland, and the island of Majorca and tentatively was chosen as the site of the 1996 World Triathlon Championships. It would be the second time a U.S. city has been the setting for the world championships, which began in 1988.
