OBIT HUNTLEY, JOHN EVA

HUNTLEY, John Eva, 75, of Roanoke, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 1993. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Marshall Huntley; one daughter, Sidney Lee Barton; one son, Barry (Buddy) Calloway. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Raymond Harvey; two sons and daughter-in-law, Alfred and Marion Calloway, of Neptune, N.J., Robert Calloway, Conn.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and Randolph Smith, Hazel and Robert Polite, New York City; one aunt Mrs. Mammie Robinson, Roanoke; devoted niece, Marva Wade, New York City; devoted friend, Clarence Wooding, Roanoke; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at Hamlar-Curtis Chapel, Rev. Antonio Thomas officiating with burial in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements by Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
