OBIT WILSON, ARBIE L.
WILSON, Arbie L., 61, of Boones Mill, died Thursday, July 29, 1993 of
complications following a second liver transplant at Emory University
Hospital, Atlanta, Ga. Mr. Wilson was a retired postal carrier and cattle
farmer. He is survived by his wife, Della Abraham Wilson, Boones Mill; his
son, Louis A. Wilson, Roanoke; his daughter, Jeanna Wilson Greene, Athens,
Ga.; brother Ishmael Wilson, St. Albans, W. Va.; sister, Naomi Wilson McComas,
Huntington, W. Va. Mr. Wilson is the son of the late Dennie and Della Yeager
Wilson of Branchland, W. Va. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and
a member of the Red Valley United Methodist Church. Graveside service will be
held at Highland Memory Gardens in Logan, W. Va. at 3 p.m. Monday, August. 2,
1993. The family will receive friends at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel Sunday from 2
to 5 p.m. The family requests donations be sent, in lieu of flowers, to the
American Liver Foundation, 1425 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove, N.J. 07009, in
memory of Arbie L. Wilson.
