CYCLISTS CALL WYTHEVILLE BEST HOST TOWN

The 1993 Bike Virginia cyclists who went through Southwest Virginia voted Wytheville as the best host town, said Allen A. Turnbull, program director.

"During our 24-hour stay, our every request was immediately handled quickly, efficiently and without complaint," he said.

Turnbull also said that Crockett and Cripple Creek, both in Wythe County, were the most popular rest stops on the tour.
