OBIT LAWSON, EMMA BOBBITT

LAWSON, Emma Bobbitt, 76, of Roanoke, passed away, Saturday, July 31, 1993. She was the widow of Reggie Bobbitt and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Frances B. and George A. Blankenship, Roanoke; four grandchildren and their spouses, George A. Blankenship II and wife, Marsha, Lisa B. Wolfe and husband Jim, Gloria Ferris and husband Tom, Doris Akers and husband Jim, all of Roanoke; eight great-grandchildren. A graveside funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 1993 at Epworth United Methodist Church Cemetery in Franklin County. Rev. Carter Sloan will officiate. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
