OBIT WEBB, MARY GUYNN
WEBB, Mary Guynn, 81, of 19 2nd St., Pulaski, died Sunday morning, August
1, 1993, in the Wythe County Community Hospital. Born in Max Meadows, April
12, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Walter Harvey Guynn and Stella
Julia Wampler Guynn. She was preceded in death by two sons, John Walter (Jake)
Webb and Marvin Douglass (Bud) Webb, three sisters and one brother. Mrs. Webb
had been employed by the Pulaski County School Board for nineteen years. She
is survived by her husband, Larson S. Webb; one daughter, Mrs. Claude (Oreta)
Yelton, Pulaski; one son, Richard Lee Webb, Pearisburg; one sister, Mrs.
Frances Ayers, Pulaski; one half sister, Mrs. Betty Jones, Pulaski; eleven
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held
Tuesday morning, 11 a.m. from Thomas M. Seagle and Sons Funeral Home, with
Rev. Dale Akers and Rev. Clayton Quesenberry officiating. Burial will follow
in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will meet at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Claude
Yelton, 805 Oakhurst Ave. Visiting will be Monday, after 1 p.m. and the family
will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. at Thomas M. Seagle and Sons Funeral
Home.
