PLAY AT BARTER

Barter Theatre will open an adults-only play, ``Frankie & Johnny in the Clair DeLune'' by Terrence McNelly, on Wednesday for a four-week run at the Barter Playhouse.

Cordis Heard and Michael Medeiros, an acting couple who are married in real life, will play the title characters struggling toward a lasting and meaningful relationship.

She has performed on Broadway and in recent movies, including ``Hero'' and ``The Distinguished Gentleman.'' He has appeared on a long list of prestigious theater stages and in film and television roles in ``Kennedy,'' ``Robocop II,'' ``Sunset Grill'' and others.
