MOUNTAIN BIKERS PLACE IN RACE

Mike Weilmeunster of Blacksburg won the men's Sport division of the Black Bear 40-kilometer mountain bike race Sunday.

Charles Stanley of Roanoke was second and Ron Glowzinski of Roanoke was seventh.

Roanoke resident John Corliss was eighth in the Expert race.
