OBIT GEARHEART, JIMMY CARLTON

GEARHEART, Jimmy Carlton, 52, of Salem, died Sunday, August 1, 1993. He was the son of Versie Jeannie Vest Gearheart and the late William Raymond Gearheart. He is survived by three sons, Douglas and Steven Gearheart, both of Salem and Jimmy Gearheart Jr. of Maryland; one daughter, Teresa Gearheart of Salem; one stepdaughter, Janet Anthony of Maryland; one brother, Carlos Wayne Gearheart of Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Betty G. and brother-in-law Ralph Dean of Roanoke and Wanda G. Spradlin of Salem; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. The Rev. Glenn Strickland will officiate. Arrangements by John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem.
