OBIT GEE, GEORGE L. SR.

GEE, George L. Sr., 91, of Roanoke, died Sunday, August 1, 1993, in Friendship Manor, of natural causes. He was a retired construction superintendent for H & S Construction and a long time member of First Baptist Church, Roanoke. Surviving are his wife, Lorraine R. Gee, Roanoke; his son, George M. Gee, Hardy; his daughter, Janet S. Tolley, Roswell, Ga.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Thursday from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel with Dr. Charles G. Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Wednesday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel where the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
