OBIT MEADOWS, ETTA MAE ROBERTS

MEADOWS, Etta Mae Roberts, 62, of 720 Fourth St. N.E., Pulaski, died Sunday, August 1, 1993, in the Radford Community Hospital. She was born in Montgomery County on March 21, 1931, and was the daughter of the late Howard Taft Roberts and Annie Lee Jennelle Roberts. She was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church, Pulaski. Surviving are her husband, Kyle Robert Meadows, Pulaski; two sons, Douglas Wayne Meadows, Pulaski, Daniel Kyle Meadows, Pulaski; two sisters, Francis Crockett, Christiansburg, Ruth Brillheart, Christiansburg; five brothers, Howard Roberts Jr., Salem, Richard Roberts, Christiansburg, Jimmy Roberts, Christiansburg, Bobby Roberts, Christiansburg, David Roberts, Lynchburg; two grandchildren, Kayla Michele Meadows, Pulaski, Leslie Ann Meadows, Pulaski. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Patrick Coffey officiating. Burial will follow in Thornspring Cemetery, Pulaski County. Visiting will be Tuesday evening at Stevens Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. The family will be meeting at the residence of the son, Daniel Kyle Meadows, 33 Fifth St. N.W., Pulaski.
