THURSDAY'S MUSIC

Steppin' Out will serve up a diverse musical menu Thursday, ranging from jazz and funk to mountain and country.

Headliner Adrian Legg, who will appear in the evening, is known for his brilliant guitar playing. CD Review said, "Legg sounds like at least two, if not three, guitarists playing at once." And more than one critic has tried to look at the maestro's hands to see if he has more than 10 digits.

Here's the schedule:

\ Noon Greg Phillips, original country ballads and foot-stompers.

\ 1 p.m. Zdrothko Medic, classical guitar from a native Yugoslavian.

\ 2 p.m. 100 % Orange, colorful acoustic music.

\ 3 p.m. About Time, acoustic combo.

\ 4 p.m. Dylan Locke Group, traditional jazz and funk-fusion.

\ 5 p.m. Dave Figg Quartet, traditional and modern jazz.

\ 6 p.m. Blue Sky Band, mountain, country and swing favorites.

\ 7 p.m. Adrian Legg, Master acoustical guitarist combines country, classical, folk and jazz influences.
