OBIT ROOP, PERRY LEE JR.

ROOP, Perry Lee Jr., 67, of Belspring, passed away August 2, 1993, in Radford Community Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, Perry Lee Roop Sr.; two sons, John Michael Roop, Terry Wayne Roop. He is survived by his wife, Louise Roop, Belspring; his mother, Myrtle Mae Roop, Radford; his son and daughter-in-law, Billy Lee and Brenda Roop, Radford; his brother, Lewis E. Roop, Belspring; two sisters, Jeannette Nelson, Betty McCoy, both of Radford; his daughter-in-law, Martha Roop, Pulaski; three granddaughters, Melissa Fulkerson, Christiansburg, Melinda Sirry, Roanoke, Jennifer Roop, Radford; one grandson, Joshua Roop, Pulaski. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel in Radford with the Rev. Tim Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
