Taylor, 11, finished with a 27-hole total of 4-over-par 112 to beat runner-up Ryan Stinnett of Amherst by four shots.
Chesapeake's Robby Rasmussen fired a final-round 72 to win the 16-17 and overall championship by four shots over Troy Thorne of Mount Holly. Rasmussen, who won the Bobby Bowers Memorial earlier this summer, finished with a 54-hole total of 6-over 218.
Brandon LaCroix, 13, of Roanoke and Lexington's Kevin O'Connell tied for fourth in the 12-13 division at 248, 20 shots behind winner Troy Copenhaver of New Market. LaCroix captured the long-drive contest in his age bracket with a shot of 255 yards.
Cameron Yancey of Blackstone won the 14-15 class with a 225 total, while Nicholas Tipton of Hanover was the 8-9 champion.

Brian Marsh, competing for the Roanoke Valley Gators, won the 200-meter butterfly Wednesday at the 1993 Long Course YMCA Swimming National Championship in Nashville, Tenn. Marsh's time was 2 minutes, 8.16 seconds.
Matt McLeod, also competing for the Gators, was 16th in the 50 freestyle.
Two swimmers from the Pulaski YMCA placed. Sarah Clements was fourth in the 400 freesytle, and Brian Manning was sixth in the 200 freestyle and 10th in the 400 freestyle.
