OBIT-POFF, HARRY LEE

POFF, Harry Lee, 77, of Pilot, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 1993. He went to be with the Lord in peace at home and was attended by his family. Harry was a veteran of World War II in Patton's third army. He worked for the N&W Railroad and retired in 1975. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Treva R. Poff, Pilot; three sons and their wives, William and Dana Poff, Phoenix, Ariz., Wayne and Terri Poff, Willis, Michael and Lisa Poff, Vinton; two brothers, Joseph L. Poff, Belspring, Murray J. Poff, Floyd; eight grandchildren, Dawn, J.D., Wray, Josiah, Brandie, Michael, Travis, Eric. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, August 6, at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with the Rev. Roy Turpin officiating. Burial will be in Jacksonville Cemetery.
