OBIT-MCNEIL, MAUDE A.

McNEIL, Maude A., 88, of Marion, died Thursday, August 5, 1993, in Smyth County Community Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Oscar McNeil, Marion; one son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Josephine McNeil, Marion; two grandsons, Roger McNeil and James McNeil, both of Marion; two great-granddaughters, Sarah and Kathryn McNeil, Marion; one foster son, Cecil McNeil, Baltimore, Md.; several nieces; and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 8, 1993, at 2 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Marion Life Saving Crew. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
