Boone, Boone & Loeb Inc., a Roanoke home builder and developer, has been ranked 340th among the 400 top U.S. residential builders and developers by Professional Builder & Remodeler, a trade journal. The ranking was based on 1992 revenues, which were $23.2 million for the Roanoke company.

\ Advanced Services Inc., a subsidiary of General Electric Co., said it will put a customer service center in Norfolk to support GE's appliances division. The 25,000-square-foot center will open in October. It is expected to employ 200 by June 1994.
