DUNKENBERGER-REESE

Allison Leigh Reese and David George Dunkenberger II were married August 7, 1993, at First United Methodist Church in Salem, Va. David Woodhouse, brother-in-law of the bride, and Keith Ritchie officiated.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Andrea Reese Woodhouse, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Elizabeth Dunkenberger, sister of the groom, Dana Nester, Amy Roberson, and Katie Lavery, friends of the bride. Anne Garrett Ryan and Katherine Childress, cousins of the groom, served as junior bridesmaids. Flower girls were Lindsay Woodhouse, niece of the bride, and Sarah Childress, cousin of the groom.

Thomas Martin Dunkenberger, Jr., was best man. Groomsmen included Randy Reese, brother of the bride, Robert Ryan, cousin of the groom, Steve Navarro and Tim Skeens, friends of the groom. Christopher Reese, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer. Soloist was Amy Long Ebel, of Roanoke, Va. The guest book was attended by Kelley Ryan, cousin of the groom.

The reception was held at La Maison.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Jackson Reese, of Elliston, Va. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Reese, of Roanoke, Va., and Mrs. Lexie Duncan, of Elliston, Va., and the late Russell J. Duncan.

The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Martin Dunkenberger, of Shawsville, Va. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. George Dunkenberger, of Salem, Va., and Mrs. Loraine Ryan, of Shawsville, Va., and the late Norvel W. Ryan.

The bride is a graduate of Glenvar High School and attended the University of Virginia. She is presently enrolled in the School of Physical Therapy at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.

The groom is a graduate of Shawsville High School and Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Va.

After the wedding trip, the couple will live in Lexington, Ky.
