KIM-PETERSON

Janet Catherine Peterson and Lt. Brian H. J. Kim were united in marriage on August 7, 1993. The candlelight service was held at Virginia Tech Memorial Chapel with Rev. E. E. Chafin officiating. A dinner reception was held in Owens Banquet Room following the ceremony. Amy Marie Peterson, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Sarah Elizabeth Peterson, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. The flowergirl was Ashley Kate Peterson, sister of the bride. James Kim, brother of the groom, served as best man. Hany Omar, friend of the groom, served as usher.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence O. Peterson of Salem. She is a graduate of Glenvar High School and Virginia Tech, where she received her B. A. in Communication Studies.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chang Soo Kim of Rockville, Maryland. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech and is currently serving as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. He has completed Undergraduate Missile Training at Vandenberg AFB, California, and will be stationed at Malstrom AFB, Montana. After a wedding trip to Calgary, the couple will make their home in Great Falls, Montana.
