MCCLELLAN-WALKER
Michelle Lynn Walker and Christopher Brent McClellan were married July 10,
1993, in Colonial Avenue Baptist Church. Rev. Branan Thompson and Father
Joseph Metzger III performed the ceremony. The reception was held at the Elks
Lodge. The matron of honor was Sherry Chaney, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids
were Heather Fox, Karen Bradley, Carla Smith and Lane Tyree, friends of the
bride. Flowergirl was Erin Chaney, niece of the bride. The best man was K.
Cliff McClellan, father of the groom. Ushers were Craig McClellan, brother of
the groom, Bobby Nelson, friend of the groom, James Walker, brother of the
bride, and Shane Burnette, nephew of the bride. Junior usher was Brian
Burnette, nephew of the bride. The guestbook was attended by Terry Greene. The
bride is a daughter of Darrell and Georgia Walker, of Covington, Va. She
graduated from Alleghany High School and Radford University and is employed by
Virginia Baptist Children's Home in Salem, Va. The groom is a son of Cliff and
Marilyn McClellan, of Roanoke, Va. He graduated from Cave Spring High School
and Radford University. After the wedding trip to the Bahamas, the newlyweds
will live in Roanoke, Va.
