DAVIS ANNIVERSARY

Frank Mason Davis, HMC USN Ret. and Helen Ridings Davis, USPS Ret. celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on August 7, 1993. The celebration, hosted by their children, was held at Vinton VFW Post 4522. The couple was married in Christiansburg, Va., August 7, 1943. Their children are Mary Marchand, Salt Lake City, Utah; Ida Woods, Hillsville, Va.; Frank Davis, Jr., Vinton, Va.; and Charlie Davis, Vinton, Va. They have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Davis is retired from the US Navy and Mrs. Davis is retired from US Postal Service. They belong to VFW, Fleet Reserve Association. Vow renewal was officiated by Rev. Dennis Moore.
