PRICE ANNIVERSARY
George Alexander Price, Jr. and Kathleen Shaver Price celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary on Sunday, August 1, 1993. The celebration, hosted by
their family, was held at Blacksburg First Wesleyan Church, where they are
members. The couple were married in Blacksburg First Wesleyan Methodist Church
in 1943. The are life-long residents of Blacksburg, Va. Mrs. Price is the
former Kathleen Shaver. Their children are Ernest Lee Price and wife, Linda,
of Blacksburg, and Bonnie Price Watson, deceased. They have three
grandchildren, Tamela McCoy and husband, Tim, Anthony Watson and wife, Geneva,
and Tina Price, and one great-grandchild, Luke Watson. Mr. Price is retired
from the Radford Army Ammunition Plant.
