EPPERLY, Gladys J., 86, of Blacksburg, passed away Saturday, August 7, 1993, in Heritage Hall Nursing Home. She is survived by one daughter, Clara Louise Yates, Blacksburg; one brother, Fred Jordan, Christiansburg; three grandchildren, Raymond Howard Yates, Pilot, Clara Yates Dove, Richmond, and Roger W. Yates, Tazewell; five great-grandchildren, Elise Epperly, Christiansburg, Sandra Dove Lynch, Shreveport, La., Randy Yates, Pilot, Kimberly Wimmer, Sherry Yates, both of Tazewell; three great-great-grandchildren, Matthew and Brady Epperly, Christiansburg and Corey Wimmer, Tazewell; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who supported her during her illness. There will be no visitation and a private memorial service will be conducted at a later date. The family requests flowers be omitted and contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 118B N. Franklin Street, Christiansburg, Va. 24073. Arrangements are being handled by Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg.
