OBIT WILKINSON, JAMES MARVIN

WILKINSON, James Marvin, 65, of Chilhowie, died Friday, August 6, 1993, in the Smyth County Community Hospital, Marion. He was owner and operator of J. T. Wilkinson & Son Mill & Scenic View Golf Course. He attended Faith Fellowship Church. He was a member of Kazim Temple of Roanoke, Chilhowie Masonic Lodge #250 A.F. & A.M., Liberty Hall Lodge #113 I.O.O.F.. Survivors include his wife, Jo Cole Wilkinson; one son, James Thomas Wilkinson of Chilhowie; four daughters, Mary Virginia Wilkinson, Mrs. Roger (Jo Ann) Peake, Debbie Wilkinson Blevins and Mrs. Mark (Kathy) Blevins, all of Chilhowie; five grandchildren, Nancy Furgerson, Jeanie Haynes, Jamie Wilkinson, Judy Peake and April Blevins; two great grandchildren, Dale Keen and Kimberly Furgerson. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donald M. Green and the Rev. Lloyd Sheets officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, at the Williams Funeral Home, and at any time at the home.
