Quayle said he plans to head an Indianapolis-based financial services company while considering whether to run for president.
He also intends to write a newspaper column of his political and philosophical observations.
"I'll continue to speak out and speak up," he said in comments published in Sunday's Indianapolis Star.
Quayle has been on the speaking circuit and has a book scheduled for publication next spring about his four years as vice president. 930809 NBRF
